Yeesha's Army

I know I have a tendency to rant. I need to control that. So, I'm going to try to make this as clear as I can. I'm need to try and have people understand my fears before it is too late.

Yeesha's Journey is about bringing the Bahro to Uru. I don't think there is any doubt about that. With every set of pillars returned to the Bahro cave, more Bahro are brought into D'ni. No one is disputing the horrors that the Bahro were put through by the D'ni before the Fall. We have seen the evidence of their mistreatment ourselves. So, at first, it seems that allowing the Bahro to return to Uru is a noble gesture on our part.

But look at what is happening. A few months ago the Bahro killed two Explorers. One they kept cruelly captive until they brutally murdered her. Some folks want to believe that this didn't happen. That somehow the Bahro were framed. Wake up folks! This did happen.

Shortly thereafter, we received news through Mr. Sharper that the Bahro were at war. Some Bahro are seeking revenge at any cost (they don't seem to care whether the people they harm had anything to do with the D'ni or not), while the others are more benevolent about our presence. Some are even sacrificing themselves to protect us Explorers.

There is obviously some nobility in the Bahro, but here's the problem. The good Bahro are in the minority - and they're losing. Mr. Sharper's most recent information makes that abundantly clear. And here we are, blissfully continuing Yeesha's Journey, returning Bahro pillars to Uru and bringing them right to us.

And this is the point I want to make perfectly clear. Most of the Bahro we bring to Uru want to KILL US! What the HELL are we doing!?

So what do we have to do?
  1. Stop returning the Bahro pillars! That should be a no-brainer.
  2. Prepare. The war is coming whether we like it or not. Douglas Sharper seems to be the only person that can see what is going on and we need to listen to him.

The good Bahro are losing folks, and when that line of defense is gone, we have to decide whether we are going to abandon Uru or are we going to fight for it. That is the ugly truth.

I say we fight!

And where does Yeesha fit in? What was she doing conning us into bringing the Bahro into our midst when she had to know that most of them would be set on destroying us. She had to know that most of the Bahro weren't ready to be given the freedom to decide. The plain truth is that most of them are deciding to kill.

Perhaps that is what she wanted. Either is she is blissfully ignorant or calculatingly malicious. You decide, but one thing is for sure - she is immanently powerful. Whether ignorant or malicious, she is someone we should be fearing, not following like hapless sheep.

Please, people. Wake up!

Stephen
