Quiet No Longer

I've been in the cavern for well over a month now, though I suspect not many people have noticed me. I started this journal not long after first meeting Yeesha (well, her hologram really - like so many others) and asking myself, just who is this person? Where does she come from? What are her motivations? She wants us to help the Bahro, giving us some story about how they were abused by the D'ni and how what was taken needs to be given back, but why does she want this? What is in it for her?

I don't like half truths and withheld information, and have never trusted people that operate this way. Needless to say, the warning bells went off with Yeesha, and I thought they would for others too, but obviously I was wrong. The VAST majority of the growing population in the cavern mindlessly follow the crumbs that Yeesha throws before them, slowly returning more and more totems to the Bahro, gradually increasing their power - and to what end? The scary truth is, none of us know.

And what did I do about this growing threat? ... Nothing!

I did absolutely nothing while the ignorant multitude - which even include members of the DRC - blissfully help Yeesha in her schemes. Well, no longer! Someone has to speak out. The tragic events of the past couple of days say that clearly. A young explorer, Willow "Wheely" Engberg, is slaughtered by the Bahro in Ae'gura! The Bahro indiscriminately slaying uncounted animals in Nagilahn and almost killing Douglas Sharper! The Bahro warring with one another with us in the middle!

I say no more! Do not complete Yeesha's quest. Retain the totems in your Relto. Do not give them to the Bahro. If Yeesha wants our help then she better damn well start providing us with some answers, and if we are going to help the Bahro gain unprecedented power, then they had better demonstrate they are more than simple, savage, beasts.

I am not won for advocating war, but if I'm going to be thrust into the middle of one, you can be damn sure I want my side to win.

Spread the word!

Stephen
